1. Member of the Computer Science Advisory Committee of the Pasadena City College, 1970-74.
2. During the period 1980 to 1982, I was a member of a NASA team involved in the design of a special “dual energy tomography experiment” used for the determination of calcium loss from the spine of the astronauts in weightless environment
3. From 1995 to 2000, I was invited by Professor Malcolm Pope to be a member of the International committee for “the effects of whole body vibration”. The function of this committee was, to coordinate research in that field, and establish ergonomic standards on the effects of whole body vibration on spinal problems. The practical significance of the group’s activity was associated with insurance workman compensation evaluations for spinal problems caused by vibrations.
